The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Skip Driver on behalf of our client based in Darlington. This Class 2 Skip Driver position is with a well-established waste management company, known for delivering tailored waste solutions to meet customer needs. Operating a modern fleet and state-of-the-art facilities, they provide efficient, reliable total waste management services across the region.
Start Date: 26/02
Pay Rate: £14.77 per hour
The Role:- Driving a Class 2 (Category C) skip vehicle
- Skip and RORO (Roll-On Roll-Off) work - RORO experience is essential
- First day will involve completing paperwork and carrying out walk-around checks of the site and vehicle
- Ensuring all vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedures
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Valid and in-date Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Previous RORO experience
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
- Monday to Friday
- 07:30am start time
