Summary

Caredig is an ambitious, innovative, community-based housing association, with a vision to provide great places to live and work. This Board role is about more than excellent governance, it’s about actively shaping Caredig’s future, with both care and commitment. We are seeking individuals who share our Vision and Values, and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a truly dynamic Board team.

As you will also join the Audit and Risk Committee an affinity for numbers is important. Excellent communication skills along with impartiality and independent judgement will also be important to the role along with a collaborative mindset and a mixed range of skills, including a sharp eye for risk, financial acumen and an understanding of landlord health and safety compliance.

We do not currently offer sponsorship.

We are a registered social landlord (RSL) based in Swansea. We were established in 1975 to meet the housing needs of families, older and more vulnerable people. We manage over 2,800 high quality affordable homes, and provide a range of services – including the development of new homes – to people and communities across Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Neath and Port Talbot, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
