Summary
JS Hedges is a well-established Funeral Directors, having served the community of St Helens and the surrounding areas since 1990. We have a hard-working team who are perfectly suited to delivery a truly personal, bespoke service for our families and clients.
As Funeral Service Operative, you’ll work as part of this dedicated team, maintaining an excellent standard of care to all the deceased as well as the bereaved. Your main duties will be:
*Driving and bearing on funerals
*Collecting the deceased from hospitals, nursing homes and their own homes
*Keeping vehicles in a clean and respectful manner
*Participation in our out of hours on call duties
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
• Empathy
• Professionalism
• A smart appearance
• A flexible approach to their work whilst being productive and efficient in their duties
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Confidence in communication
• A willingness to learn new skills
• Confidentiality at all times
Experience is not essential as on the job training will be provided.
