Summary
Assistin the implementation of agreed plans of carealongsidethe wider team andincollaboration with serviceusers. Assist members of the wider team to set up and perform clinical procedures. Ensure clinical areasremainclean,tidy. Followingappropriate training, undertake clinical care includingmonitoring and recording vital signs, taking swabs, venepuncture, removing catheters and cannulasetc,on instruction from the qualified midwife, with the support of senior maternity support workers on shift. Recording the results appropriately and reporting any abnormalities to the Midwife or Midwife in Charge. Support and teach parents the skillsrequiredtoestablishand maintain infant feeding.
