- Deliver engaging Maths lessons following provided plans
- Teach a range of mathematical topics including number, algebra, geometry, and statistics
- Support the development of problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Contribute to departmental collaboration during longer‑term placements
- Promote positive attitudes towards numeracy and independent learning
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge across the Maths curriculum
- Confident behaviour and classroom management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners across different year groups
- Adaptable across a variety of school settings
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
