- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons designed to support pupils with SEND
- Create structured, inclusive, and purposeful learning environments
- Implement individual education plans and personalised learning strategies
- Use effective techniques to support communication, sensory, behavioural, and cognitive needs
- Work collaboratively with support staff, external professionals, and pastoral teams
- Assess and record pupil progress and contribute to review meetings
- Promote independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours
- Support whole‑school routines during longer‑term placements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with pupils with SEND across a range of needs
- Strong understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive education
- Confident behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
- Adaptability across different key stages and school environments
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
