Minimum of 16 hours per week contracted (This means that hours may increase or decrease to your contracted hours to meet the required adult:child ratios of the setting) starting April 2026.
You will be required to be flexible in working between the hours of 8am and 6pm, agreed before the start of each term and according to numbers of children aged between 2-11 years of age. This post is term time only.

We are looking for a very special person to join our team of childcare professionals to work with children in our pre-school, breakfast and after school clubs.
The applicant must have a genuine love of children and be committed to facilitating joy and wonder through a play-based curriculum. The successful applicant will uphold our staff values of kindness, honesty and understanding and will have a passion to learn more about how children can be supported to reach their potential.

A full and relevant Level 3 qualification and experience of working with children would be essential. Successful applicants will be committed to continuing professional development and will need to complete specific training
Pay will depend on the qualifications and experience of the candidate, £13.26 will be the minimum hourly rate. A discount is given to staff children who use our setting.

It is a requirement of all staff that they share this commitment and follow the prescribed policy and procedures to continuously promote a culture of safeguarding across the whole organisation.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check. Applicants must be prepared to disclose any convictions they may have and any orders that have been made against them. Employment is subject to the receipt of two suitable references.
