Summary
Your new company
A well‑established organisation based in Loughborough, with a large and supportive Accounts Payable team. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Accounts Payable Assistant to join them on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. You'll be part of a friendly, collaborative finance department where training and development are actively encouraged.
Your new role
As a Junior Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the team with day‑to‑day invoice processing and supplier management. This is a full‑time role (37.5 hours per week), offering excellent exposure to a busy finance environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- High‑volume invoice processing
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Assisting with supplier queries
- Supporting the wider finance team during peak periods
- Helping maintain accurate financial records
This position is perfect for someone at the start of their finance career who is eager to learn and develop their skills.
