Thrive Recruitment Group is working with schools across Devon and Cornwall to recruit dedicated Student Wellbeing & Inclusion Mentors to support pupils who need additional guidance to fully access education.
This role is ideal for someone who understands that for some young people, success begins with trust, emotional support, and consistency.
As a Student Wellbeing & Inclusion Mentor, you will work with children and young people who may be experiencing:

Low confidence or school disengagement

Risk of exclusion or difficulty with transitions

You'll support pupils both inside and outside of the classroom, helping them develop the confidence, resilience, and coping strategies needed to succeed.

Providing 1:1 and small group mentoring support

Helping pupils regulate emotions and develop positive behaviours

Supporting engagement in learning and classroom participation

Working alongside teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored support plans

Supporting reintegration and transition back into mainstream learning

Your role will often be the steady, supportive presence that helps a pupil turn things around.
