Summary
Our client, a prestigious secondary school in Bristol, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join their leadership team as a Full-time Associate Assistant Principal - SENCO. - Oversee the implementation and evaluation of the school's SEND policy and procedures
- Coordinate the identification, assessment, and provision of support for students with special educational needs
- Liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure seamless and effective support for SEND students
- Manage and develop a team of SEND specialists, including teaching assistants and therapists
- Contribute to the school's strategic planning and decision-making processes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations related to SEND
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Postgraduate qualification in SEND or a related field
- Substantial experience in SEND education, with a proven track record of success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
