- Develop and implement a comprehensive careers education programme that aligns with the school's strategic objectives
- Provide one-on-one and group careers guidance to students, helping them explore their interests and identify suitable educational and employment pathways
- Collaborate with academic staff to integrate careers-related content and activities into the curriculum
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with local employers, universities, and other educational institutions to create enriching work experience and progression opportunities for students
- Organise and facilitate careers-focused events, workshops, and information sessions for students and parents
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of careers programmes, using data to continuously improve the support offered to students
- Contribute to the school's overall student support and wellbeing initiatives
- Relevant degree in careers guidance, education, or a related field
- Qualified with recognised careers guidance qualifications (Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development)
- Substantial experience in careers education and guidance, preferably within a school or college setting
- Excellent knowledge of educational pathways, employment trends, and the local and national labour market
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and a wide range of stakeholders
- Proven track record of designing and delivering successful careers programmes that have had a measurable impact on student outcomes
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in careers guidance
