Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Global People & UK Payroll Administrator to join our hospitality company in the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes for UK employees while supporting global people functions. You will ensure payroll accuracy, compliance with regulations, and seamless HR operations across multiple regions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of UK payroll legislation. The ideal candidate will also have experience in HR administration and a passion for creating smooth and efficient people processes in a fastpaced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all Global People Administration and UK Payroll & Pension queries.
  • Manage and resolve payroll-related queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Process UK four-weekly payroll and Tronc administration, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Handle pension-related queries and support team members with contributions and enrollments.
  • Oversee Wagestream queries and ensure seamless integration with payroll systems.
  • Prepare and issue offer letters, employment contracts, and reference requests for new hires.
  • Support hiring managers with the onboarding process for UK HQ & US HO, including:
  • Processing resource approval request forms
  • Issuing offer letters and contracts
  • Conducting employment referencing
  • Facilitating UK induction training
  • Managing and distributing team discount codes
Maintain and update people documentation, templates, and policy libraries.Administer employee benefits, including Health Shield and share option schemes.Conduct holiday audits, manage holiday-related queries, and communicate policies.Maintain and update UK People platforms, including Fourth, Wagestream, Health Shield, and Troncbox.Support the People Team with general administration and process improvement initiatives.Ensure the upkeep of global people collateral, driving consistency across HR functions.Provide holiday cover for the UK People Business Partner and support additional HR tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in UK payroll administration
  • Experience supporting global HR functions and understanding of international payroll processes is desirable.
  • Familiarity with global HR systems and payroll platforms.
  • Understanding of data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) and compliance issues in relation to payroll and employee data.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when managing sensitive data.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees, HR teams, and external providers.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with HR software and payroll systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
