We are delighted to announce an exceptional and highly fulfilling job opportunity within our organisation. Thanks to recent local funding, we have launched an exciting new project aimed at supporting people with hoarding behaviour referred by the local authority.
As a key member of our team, you will have the privilege of working directly with people with hoarding behaviour in their homes on a weekly basis. Your primary objective will be to offer person-centred support, fostering a partnership with the individuals as you collaboratively strive towards clearing their living spaces, rebuilding their overall well-being, and creating habitable environments. Central to this approach will be the establishment of SMART goals, allowing for a systematic and manageable progression towards milestones of achievement.
QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, AND EXPERIENCE
An interest and/or experience in mental health and hoarding
An empathetic persona with strong communication skills
Self-motivated, tenacious and able to overcome obstacles
Ability to build and maintain trust with vulnerable adults
Problem solving and decision-making skills
Efficient and organised with good attention to detail
