QC Analyst - Temporary Contract

South Yorkshire

Hourly Rate: £12.82 per hour

Are you looking to build hands‑on laboratory experience with a leading name in the chemicals sector? Our client is seeking a QC Analyst to join their site in South Yorkshire on a 3‑month temporary contract, where you'll join a fast‑paced QC team supporting production, problem‑solving, and quality improvements across site.

This is a great opportunity for a recent Chemistry graduate or someone with industrial QC / wet chemistry experience who's ready to grow their skills in a supportive, highly respected environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out testing on production batches, including UV Vis, viscosity, conductivity and pH
  • Investigating customer complaints through lab testing
  • Supporting in-process troubleshooting by analysing samples and identifying trends
  • Using SAP to enter, track, and interpret testing data
  • Tracking trends and flagging any out of spec results
  • Evaluating raw materials through lab trials

What we're looking for:

  • A degree in Chemistry or a related discipline - Recent graduates encouraged to apply!
  • Wet chemistry skills gained from university or industrial setting
  • Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to efficiently plan, organise and manage own workload
  • Confidence with digital systems (SAP experience is a bonus)
