Summary
We're recruiting for full‑time Assemblers / Testers for a well‑established manufacturing company in Wolverhampton. This role focuses on putting together and testing solenoids and other electromechanical parts in a small, specialist workshop. It’s a good fit for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable following clear written instructions.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble solenoids and other small electrical parts
• Carry out general assembly tasks, including mechanical fitting and basic electrical work.
• Complete soldering tasks to support product build.
• Use basic inspection equipment to verify component dimensions.
• Follow detailed written instructions and build documentation accurately.
• Support testing activities, including basic electrical checks.
Requirements
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with small components and inspection tools.
• Reliable, methodical, and able to work to consistent quality standards.
• Experience with coil winding is beneficial but not essential (full training will be provided)
• Familiarity with digital multi-meters (resistance, voltage, current) is useful but not required.
• Previous experience in an electromechanical or precision assembly environment is an advantage.
• £12.21 to begin with, once fully trained salary reviewed
