Summary

We're looking for a General Foreman to join our structures team based on A66 project in Penrith. In this role you'll take responsibility for managing site resources, labour teams, and subcontractors. With a focus on Formwork, Reinforcement Concrete (FRC) structures, particularly bridges.



Location: Penrith - site based 5 days per weekHours: Permanent Fulltime 45 hours per week

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role



What will you be responsible for?

As a General Foreman, you'll coordinate resources to ensure works are delivered efficiently, while working closely with the Works Manager to manage risks and identify opportunities

Your day to day will include:

-Managing site resources, labour teams and subcontractors to ensure safe project delivery

-Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks and maintaining health and safety compliance

-Planning and coordinating work activities, including creating mini programmes for sectional work

-Building positive relationships with client representatives and team members

-Ensuring quality standards are met while monitoring materials, specifications and drawings



What are we looking for?

This role of General Foreman is ideal if you:

-Hold a CSCS Gold Card, SMSTS certification, and First Aid training

-Have experience in Formwork, Reinforcement and Concrete (FRC) structures, particularly bridges

-Bring strong Temporary Works awareness

-Have solid experience in health and safety practices
