Summary
Duties include but not limited to:
• Cleaning and maintaining the shop floor around the production area.
Occasional office and W.C. cleaning/refilling will be required.
• Cleaning up oil spills from machinery and equipment.
• Organising and emptying Swarf/metal bins
• Mopping, sweeping and hoovering.
• Some heavy lifting will be required.
• Undertake any other activity as required by the business
• Regular manual handling and physical work
• Safe and accurate use of hand and power tools
• Assisting with general production and warehouse duties
• Organising shop floor space to keep walkways clear
Knowledge and Skills:
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Previous manufacturing or production experience desirable (not essential)
• Forklift License desirable (not essential)
• Ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of management and staff and work as part of a team.
• High attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to react quickly to the needs of the business
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
This is a full time position Monday - Friday. 39 hours per week
20 days holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays.
Pension Scheme available.
