General Operator – Chain & Hot Work (Full Time 39 hours per week) (Temporary)
Solid Swivel Company Ltd, Cradley Heath, would like to recruit an experienced Chain & Hot Work Operator.
Established in 1910 the Company has a long history of manufacturing quality engineered products here in the midlands and is a renowned local employer.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Working as part of a small team making chain (Flash Butt Welded).
• Flash butt welding of various components.
• Riveting various components.
• Shackle making.
• Upset forging.
• Presswork and clipping.
• Grinding & linishing.
• Checking components against Engineering Drawings and/or work instructions.
• Training on our products and equipment as required for the role.
Relevant (Preferred) Knowledge & Experience:
• Forging/Hot Work
• Chain and shackle making.
• Flash Butt Welding.
• Fork Lift Truck Driving.
Hourly Rate - Dependent upon knowledge and experience.
Hours of Work: 6am-2pm Mon/Thurs. 6am-1pm Friday.
36 days holiday per year.
