Summary

Client Manager – Manchester (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced Account Executive who enjoys managing and developing client relationships? Or perhaps you’re a senior Account Handler ready to step into a more client-facing, book owning role?

We’re working with a leading global broker in Manchester who are looking to appoint a Client Manager into their growing mid market team, following a period of sustained growth.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of mid-market commercial clients, acting as the principal relationship lead for key decision-makers including MDs and FDs. You will deliver tailored insurance and risk management solutions aligned to each client’s business objectives, whilst identifying opportunities to develop and grow your book through cross-sell activity and referrals. Importantly, you will operate within a well-supported structure, benefiting from strong technical, claims and placement backing to enable you to focus on building relationships and driving client outcomes.

It’s an excellent move for someone who enjoys servicing and advising but is keen to have greater ownership, visibility and commercial impact. You’ll be supported by an experienced leadership team and given genuine scope to build your profile within the market.
We’re particularly keen to speak with individuals who:

- Have strong commercial insurance experience (£500k GWP policies +)
- Are confident in front of clients and enjoy consultative conversations
- Hold insurance accrediations or are working towards them
- Want to progress into a more strategic, client-led position
