We're looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Structural and Geotechnical Engineering Team based in London, Birmingham, or Manchester. Location: London, Birmingham, or Manchester - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?As a Senior Engineer, you'll be working within the Structures Team, supporting them in delivering technical excellence across contracts like National Highways Major Projects, National Highways SDF, TfL, Northamptonshire, South Wales Trunk Road Agency Contract (SWTRA) and many more.

Your day to day will include:

-Leading and managing the delivery of technical outputs, acting as Lead Designer on team projects

-Contributing to technical excellence and innovation across inspection, assessment, and design of highway structures

-Scheme investigation, site and structure inspections, data collection and analysis, feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design

-Preparing tender documents, works / construction inspection and supervision progressing scheme design, development and construction

-Communicating, delivering and implementing improvements to SHEQ within all aspects of projects



What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Engineer is great for you if:

-You have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline and are approaching or have achieved Chartered / Incorporated status with a professional institution

-You bring demonstrable experience in inspection, assessment, and design of highway structures to UK standards

-You're comfortable with relevant design software and familiar with Eurocodes / knowledge and experience of the main management systems & processes used within a similar business
