Looking for regular work and want to work for a well reputed company? This could be the ideal role for you! The Best Connection Swindon is currently recruiting for a Brake press operator, day shift, this role is a temp to perm assignment.
Our client is located in the Swindon area, easily accessible by public transport.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year Brake press operating experience
Hours and pay:
- Monday to Thursday 8am-4:45pm, Friday 8am-3:30pm.
- £13.00 per hour (PAYE).
Job Responsibilities for our client in Swindon:
- Set up and operate CNC or manual brake press machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Select appropriate tools, dies, and materials for each job
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality
- Adjust machine settings to maintain proper angles and dimensions
- Perform routine maintenance and keep machines clean and safe
- Follow safety procedures and company quality standards
- Work with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
You will also work on Factory floor which can involve packing and lifting
