Payroll Assistant (Hybrid)

I am seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our well-established client based in Glasgow & their dynamic payroll team. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with a finance background who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This role offers a Hybrid combination of in office and at home-based days - as well as a range of positive benefits.


Key Responsibilities:


* Process weekly payrolls and related invoicing.
* Manage statutory deductions and perform manual payroll calculations.
* Generate regular payroll reports.
* Respond to payroll queries from employees and internal teams.
* Maintain accurate payroll records and systems.
* Administer statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.).

This ideal candidate will have the below requirements:

* Confident communicator, able to handle payroll queries professionally.

* Proficient in Excel, Word, and payroll software.
* Experience with weekly or high-volume payrolls is desirable, but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
