What Can You Expect?
We’re looking for a motivated, compassionate individual who is structured and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences. You would be joining us in the role of Bank Controller/Planner, where you will be responsible for planning and controlling the daily movement of medically eligible patient journeys to and from their healthcare appointments in our non-emergency ambulances.
The aim of this role is to ensure precise controlling and planning of the ambulances, to allow eligible patients to get to and from their appointments in a timely manner, whilst ensuring mobility requirements of the booked journey are met.
We're offering bank positions (zero contracted hours), which operate under a casual agreement. You may be offered shifts when they become available, and you have the flexibility to accept shifts as and when you choose.
Summary Of Main Duties Include
Planning and controlling the daily movement of ambulance journeys transporting eligible patients to and from their healthcare appointments.
Allocating of physical resources and patient journeys using the Cleric System to our crew members and Volunteer Car Service workers.
Liaising with healthcare professionals and hospital departments to ensure that we are able to maximise the utilisation of the available vehicles and staff.
Building effective relationships with crews in order to ensure the best possible patient experience.
To work within a team to make decisions about transportation which deliver the best outcomes for patients.

Experience of working in a similar transport control environment, using logistical and planning skills.
Ability to plan appropriate journey routes for drivers.
Problem solving ability for any challenges that may occur during day control.
Customer service focused and able to effectively handle sensitive situations.
Have a good geographic knowledge of the area.
Be able to stay calm under pressure.
