What Can You Expect?

We are currently looking for a detail‑driven and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. This is a hands‑on role supporting core financial processes, with a strong focus on invoice accuracy, supplier liaison, and maintaining high‑quality financial records.

You’ll gain practical experience across purchase ledger, invoice processing, and financial administration while completing a fully funded apprenticeship. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and supporting smooth financial operations.

This is a permanent, part‑time position (15 - 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday). The role is hybrid, requiring travel to our Lincoln Headquarters and offering flexibility through remote working.
A Typical Day Could See You:

Verifying third‑party, agency, and supplier invoices for accuracy
Maintaining purchase ledger records and reconciling supplier statements
Liaising with suppliers to resolve discrepancies and queries
Supporting payment runs and ensuring documentation is complete
Maintaining financial records across Excel, Cleric, and internal systems
Assisting with month‑end tasks and general finance administration

What We’re Looking For:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work professionally with suppliers and internal teams
Comfortable using Excel and digital finance systems
Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
Proactive, willing to learn, and adaptable
Finance or accounts experience (preferred)
Familiarity with Cleric or similar systems (preferred)
