Shape Futures.A vibrant and successful secondary school is looking for a committed, energetic, and caring practitioner to play a key role in developing the literacy and numeracy skills of our Year 7 students. This long‑term supply role is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference at a pivotal point in their educational journey.
What the role involves
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with Year 7 learners to strengthen the essential literacy and numeracy skills that underpin all future learning
- Deliver targeted support through both one‑to‑one sessions and small‑group interventions
- Build students' confidence, helping them to develop the functional skills they need to thrive
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure every intervention is purposeful, engaging, and personalised to student needs
Who we're looking forWe welcome applications from individuals with proven experience in a school setting, including:
- Year 6 Primary practitioners
- Secondary Teachers
- HLTA‑qualified practitioners
- TAs with a strong background in literacy and numeracy support
