Summary
Nursery Manager - Up to £48,000
Oversee the day-to-day running of a busy Early Years setting, leading staff and supporting children across all rooms. This role combines hands-on work with operational leadership, ensuring high standards of care and education in line with EYFS. You will guide and develop your team while remaining present in the nursery to support both children and practitioners directly.
Before You Apply
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) is required.
- You must have previous nursery management experience.
- This role is not suitable for candidates without leadership experience in a nursery setting.

What You’ll Need
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Proven experience as a Nursery Manager
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and nursery operations
- Experience leading and developing teams

- Recruit, supervise, and develop staff across all rooms
- Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements
- Oversee planning, observations, and child development tracking
- Lead meetings, staff appraisals, and performance management
- Maintain accurate records for regulatory and inspection purposes
