Our strong community ethos and collaborative approach ensure that every child is encouraged to thrive in a nurturing environment.The RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and well-motivated Breakfast & After School Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality wraparound care.Working under the direction of the Club Supervisor and Headteacher, you will help create a safe, structured and engaging environment where children can enjoy play activities and social interaction before and after the school day. The role includes supervising activities, supporting children’s wellbeing, preparing healthy snacks and light meals, administering first aid where appropriate, and contributing to a positive and inclusive setting.You will work closely with colleagues as part of a small team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the provision and help maintain high standards in line with school policies and national guidance.What We’re Looking ForNVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) or willingness to work towardsKnowledge of National StandardsAbility to build positive relationships with childrenGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamOrganised and reliable approach to workFirst Aid qualification or willingness to undertake trainingFood hygiene certificate or willingness to undertake trainingICT skillsUnderstanding of Equal OpportunitiesCommitment to supporting the ethos of the schoolWhy Join UsThis is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting children outside the classroom and contributing to their wider school experience.
