Summary

Melksham House School, part of Brunel Education, is a specialist provision that provides education for children and young people with complex social, emotional and/or mental health or medical needs which have prevented them from successfully engaging in or attending school. We are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all our pupils, aged 4 to 18. Our focus is on children and young people who present with an Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA) profile, and we understand that everyone is unique, with their own strengths, challenges, and needs.
We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Pupil Coach (Teaching Assistants) to join our committed team and make a real difference in the live of our pupils.
We’re looking for people who:
Have experience working with children or young people, particularly those with additional needs or behavioural challenges
Are patient, resilient, and calm under pressure
Can communicate effectively and build rapport quickly
Believe every child deserves a second chance and a positive future
Hold relevant qualifications (e.g Level 2 English/Maths, ELSA qualification)

Hours: 31 hours per week (08:30-15:00 Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, 08:30-16:00 Weds)
