Summary
Equine Yard Manager (to live onsite)
Salary: Up to £33,204 per annum (full-year salary) (dependent upon experience and qualifications)
Working Pattern: Full-time and working in 5 in 7 days to cover rota to include weekends (Yard Manager must be willing to work flexibly)
Location: Sparsholt Campus (Winchester)

About the role: The Yard Manager will assist in managing a dedicated and skilled team of staff with key responsibility for maintaining high standards of husbandry, teaching and learning across the student provision at the Equine Centre and delivering commercial activity. Commitment to the provision of a high quality, professional and customer focused service to students and commercial clients is essential in this post. The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will be to enhance the student experience through supporting curriculum requirements, ensure equine welfare is exemplary and support an increase in commercial activity. About you You will be: - Qualified to a minimum of BHS Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship - Extensive stable management and coaching experience in the industry - A confident leader with strong organisational and people-management skills - Committed to excellence in equine welfare, education, and customer service
