Summary
Facilities Supervisor (Caretaker)
• Grade: BB04 (Salary Point 7-9)
• FTE Salary: £26,403 to £27,254 Actual: £16,056 to £16,573 per annum
• Working pattern: 22.5 hours per week
We are looking to appoint a reliable, proactive, hardworking Facilities Supervisor (Caretaker) to join us at St Benet Biscop Catholic Academy. This role is essential in ensuring our school provides a clean, safe and well-maintained environment for students, staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, show excellent attention to detail, and be able to respond positively to the varied needs of a busy school site.
The school site is open from 6am to 7pm each day. The hours of work will usually be from 2.30pm to 7pm each day however we require someone who is willing to be flexible and able to support if there are after school events or staff absence in the team.
You will work with the Facilities team to provide a professional and efficient caretaking service. The job is varied and includes premises related functions such as day-to-day maintenance of the school building and grounds, ensuring the premises are safe and secure, assisting with waste management, cleaning, deliveries, ensuring health and safety is adhered to and liaising with external contractors.

The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to work and possess the relevant skills and knowledge to become part of the team dealing with all site-related maintenance.
