Progressive Independence is has a brand-new 4-bed Supported Accommodation home for 16–17-year-olds in Wrexham. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Home Manager to lead the service and ensure the highest standards of support and safeguarding for the young people in our care.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a new service from the ground up, working closely with a supportive senior leadership team.
What You’ll Do
As Home Manager, you will:
- Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated staff team.
- Ensure high standards of support, safeguarding, and independence-focused practice.
- Oversee placement planning, daily operations, and quality assurance.
- Work in partnership with commissioners, social workers, and safeguarding teams.
- Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and compliance systems.
- Promote trauma-informed, rights-based practice in every aspect of the service.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in residential childcare, supported accommodation, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- A passion for supporting young people to build resilience and independence.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and supported accommodation standards.
- Ability to manage staff, budgets, and service performance effectively.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and commitment to continued professional development.
