The Role: A Unique Leadership Opportunity
We are looking for a strong, talented, and highly motivated leader to join our Supported Living team. Unlike a standard vacancy, we are looking for the right person first - once recruited, we will work with you to place you in the service where your specific skills and experience will have the greatest impact.
You will be responsible for a responsive, high-quality supported living service, ensuring that our independent living homes in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead maintain the highest CQC ratings.
How You’ll Lead
As a Registered Manager, you will oversee a Supported Living service, leading a team of Service Managers, Seniors, and Support Workers. Your mission is to ensure:
• Exceptional Quality: All services meet or exceed CQC standards and remain fully compliant with legislation.
• Person-Centred Care: The people we support remain at the core of everything we do - treated with respect, dignity, and empowered to live as independently as possible.
• Team Development: Coaching and mentoring your team to deliver flexible support that helps the people we support to achieve their goals.
• Operational Excellence: Managing budgets effectively, leading on recruitment, and maintaining strong relationships with housing associations and local authority partners.
About You
We are looking for a resilient leader with a proven track record of improving performance and motivating large teams in a fast-paced environment. Essential Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ management experience in supported living or residential care, specifically working with learning disabilities, neurodiversity, or complex needs.
• Qualifications: NVQ / QCF Level 5 is essential.
• CQC Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Health and Social Care Act and CQC framework.
• Transport: A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for business use.
• Flexibility: Work Participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
Why Join the Optalis Team?
When you join Optalis, you’re investing in a career that cares for you, too. In addition to a supportive environment, you will enjoy:
• Generous Leave: 25 days annual leave (pro-rata), increasing yearly to a maximum of 30 days, plus 8 bank holidays.
• Time for You: An extra day off for your birthday and a dedicated wellbeing day each year.
• Financial Perks: Access to Perkbox, offering high-street discounts on shopping, cinema, travel, health, and insurance, plus a generous pension scheme.
• Health & Wellbeing: Comprehensive support to ensure you feel your best at work and at home.
• Career Growth: A fully paid training and development programme with clear pathways for career progression.
