Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking to join a growing, supportive business where you can really make an impact? Our client, a well‑established and expanding organisation based in Huddersfield, is looking for a confident, proactive Credit Controller to join their friendly finance team.
Experience within the construction or building sector would be highly advantageous due to the nature of their client base.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and maintaining the sales ledger
Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
Building strong relationships with customers to resolve queries
Allocating payments and reconciling accounts
Working closely with internal teams to ensure timely billing and query resolution
Producing reports on aged debt and payment performance
Supporting month‑end processes where required
About You
Previous experience within a Credit Control role
Sector experience in construction/building is very beneficial
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Highly organised with good attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
Confident using finance systems and Excel
