Summary
Role Overview
Angard Staffing is the dedicated provider of temporary staff to Royal Mail Group. We are currently recruiting Finance Administrators to support the S4 Project within Royal Mail’s Finance Shared Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, supportive, and fast‑paced finance environment during a key transformation period.
You will support a wide range of activities across Finance Shared Services, including invoice processing, exception handling, supplier queries, bank reconciliations, data maintenance, and finance administration tasks linked to the S4 migration programme. You will work as part of a busy and friendly team, helping ensure service levels are met while contributing to key project milestones.Job Details:
• Role: Finance Administrator – S4 Project
• Location: Finance Shared Services, Chesterfield (S49 1HQ)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay Rate: £13.56 per hour
• Contract: Temporary until Sept 2026 - potential for this to be extended
• Hours: Full‑time, Monday–Friday (office hours). Some flexibility may be required to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and match invoices with accuracy and in line with internal controls.
- Manage and resolve supplier and internal stakeholder payment queries.
- Maintain supplier master data and ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Perform checks and controls prior to scheduled pay runs.
- Support cash allocation and reconciliation activities.
- Assist with bank and international finance reconciliations.
- Provide admin support to taskforce teams working on S4 project priorities.
- Work flexibly to meet team SLAs and project deadlines.
Skills & Experience
Essential- Strong IT and keyboard skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Methodical, accurate, and highly organised.
- Able to manage workload effectively and work under pressure.
- Customer‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
- Problem‑solving and analytical ability.
- Strong team player with a flexible approach.
Desirable
- Knowledge of SAP, Excel, and Word.
- Previous experience in a finance or shared services environment.
- Studying toward AAT or similar qualification.

- Annual leave may be restricted during key S4 project phases.
- This is an on‑site role within the Finance Shared Services centre.
