We are delighted to launch this exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and forward‑thinking College, supporting our Property Development & Maintenance Apprentices throughout their learning journey.

We are looking to recruit an Apprenticeship Trainer - Property Development & Maintenance to support our expanding apprenticeship provision in this dynamic and essential sector.

The Trainer - Apprenticeships in Property Development & Maintenance will:

  • Share up‑to‑date industry knowledge and hands‑on expertise with apprentices across classroom, workshop, and site environments, ensuring they develop strong practical abilities, technical understanding, and employability skills.
  • Engage with employers to discuss and recommend additional training, qualifications, and development opportunities that can be incorporated into each apprentice's training plan to enhance their workplace impact.
  • Use extensive trade experience to guide, coach, and support apprentices through their educational and professional development, helping them gain the confidence and competence needed for success in the property industry.

Working 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year, successful candidates will be based across our Aylesbury and will travel throughout Buckinghamshire to support apprentices in reaching their full potential.

Taking Teaching Further

The College actively engages with the Education & Training Foundation's Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education.

As industry professionals offer our students industry experience and insight we support our unqualified teachers to learn 'on the job'. You will be given full support throughout your development to fully qualified teacher status. Whilst in employment you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. After completion you can choose to move be onto our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification. This is a great way for experienced professionals to achieve a recognised teaching qualification whilst in employment.
