Although a Class 1 licence (C+E) is essential, the role will primarily involve driving Class 2 vehicles delivering powered access platforms for hire to customers across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who enjoys variety in their work, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and is willing to support different depots as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
* Acting as a relief driver across Midland's depots
* Delivering and collecting powered access platforms safely and efficiently
* Operating Class 2 vehicles (primarily)
* Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in line with company procedures
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
* Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
* Supporting depot teams as required
Requirements
* Valid C+E licence (Class 1)
* Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Good knowledge of UK road networks
* Flexible and willing to travel between Midland's depots (expenses arrangement would be in place)
* Reliable, punctual, and professional
* A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
