Our client is seeking a skilled Groundsperson to join their team working on a prestigious and historic estate.
This is a hands-on role involving the maintenance of grounds and outdoor spaces, alongside supporting forestry operations, landscaping projects, and general estate maintenance. The position offers excellent variety, working across ornamental areas, formal lawns, parkland, and woodland.
Key Duties:
• Mowing, strimming, hedge cutting and seasonal planting
• Maintaining paths, fences, gates and estate furniture
• Operating machinery including ride-on mowers, compact tractors and brush cutters
• Supporting woodland management and conservation work
• Ensuring high standards of health & safety at all times
Requirements:
• Experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture or forestry
• Confident using power tools and machinery
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors year-round
• Strong attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence due to location
Desirable: PA1/PA6, chainsaw certification, tractor experience.
