Summary

The Best Connection is currently looking for an experienced FLT Driver to join our team in a busy warehouse environment.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual who is confident working in a fast-paced setting and comfortable working 12-hour shifts.

Please note, this role will involve approximately 50% FLT work and 50% general warehousing duties during your shift.

Pay Rate:

The starting pay rate is £13.63 per hour.

This client operates a grading points system, and as you gain experience and knowledge within the role, your pay will increase.

The final grade is currently paid at £14.93 per hour.

There is also potential for overtime once fully trained.

Duties on site:

• Picking raw materials from warehouse locations
• Delivering raw materials to production areas
• Transferring goods between warehouse locations, production areas, and vehicles
• Completing dispatch notes
• Booking goods in
• General warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a warehousing environment
• Previous experience working 12-hour shifts
• Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance licence (required)
• Flexi/Bendi or PPT licence would be advantageous
• Experience using handheld scanners
• Experience dispatching goods
• Ability to provide work references
• Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team

Working hours:

6:00am - 6:00pm on a 2-week rotating rota:

Week 1:

Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday - 46 hours

Week 2:

Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday - 34.5 hours
