Summary
Overview
We’re a well-established and well respected mortgage & insurance broker based in Crook County Durham, and we’re looking for an experienced General Insurance Advisor to join our close-knit team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong personal and commercial lines experience who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and building long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
Advising clients on a wide range of personal and commercial insurance products
Handling new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments and enquiries
Ensuring all activity is compliant with FCA regulations
Accurately maintaining client records using insurance IT system (SSP Pure)
Working efficiently to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications/Experience
Personal and commercial insurance lines is essential
Strong knowledge of insurance products, principles, and FCA compliance
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
Confident IT user, ideally with experience of SSP Pure
Strong organisation and time-management skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Minimum 5 GCSE's including Maths & English
