Summary

Job Description Creation of purchase orders against valid Homecare prescriptions and transition of all relevant documents in a timely and secure manner to relevant Homecare provider(s) in accordance with agreed contracts and Service Level Agreements. Checking accuracy of homecare invoices against purchase orders and current contract prices, and passing invoices for payment or querying as appropriate Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when raising homecare orders and processing homecare invoices Maintain and update Homecare records relating to homecare patients, prescriptions processed, and invoices passed for payment Effective communication with pharmacy staff, wider trust staff, suppliers, patients or agreed patient representatives, and homecare provider staff to ensure the smooth running of the homecare service Deal with any queries relating to homecare services, from either trust staff, homecare provider staff or patients and their representatives, via phone or email in a timely manner to ensure patients treatments are not interrupted Ensures that all systems and processes related to the smooth running of the Homecare service are followed. The post-holder should possess the following skills and abilities to be considered for the role; GCSE English and MathematicsgradeC/4or above. Level 2 qualification in pharmacy services, or willingness to complete the course within the first year of employment Recentclerical experience within a busy office environment. Previousemployment in a hospital or community pharmacy Experience in customer orientated services with a knowledge of customer care Excellent IT skills, includingaccuratedata entry and experience using Microsoft Officesoftwareespecially Excel. Good problem solving skills but also aware of own limits Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively. Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the importance of maintaining confidentiality. Self-motivated, logical, methodical and with a good attention to detail Able to work accurately and flexibly under pressure and through interruptions Willing to be trained and instructed. Staff are required to work any combination of hours between 07:00am 08:00pm. Shift patterns will be allocated once appointed, as the Department is moving towards a full 7-day service, and will include weekend working on a rotational basis. All applicants will be required to work at the Frenchay Beckspool office.
