Based in Liverpool, this is an opportunity for a Senior Solicitor who wants genuine responsibility, meaningful client exposure, and the chance to shape complex cases from start to finish.
The Role
As a Senior Solicitor, you will:
Manage a mixed caseload of complex Employment Tribunal claims
Conduct and complete multi-day Employment Tribunal hearings
Deliver high-quality, strategic employment law advice to key clients
Supervise and mentor junior team members, overseeing matters strategically
Support business development initiatives, including client training and networking
Work in line with client and internal SLAs
Produce monthly and ad-hoc client MI reports
Operate in accordance with firm values, standards and procedures
Achieve agreed financial and chargeable hour targets
This is a visible, high-impact role within a team trusted by household-name employers. You will not just manage cases you will influence outcomes.
About You
You are commercially aware, technically strong and confident in the Tribunal environment.
You will have:
5+ years PQE
Strong technical employment law expertise
A genuine interest in advocacy (direct advocacy experience highly desirable)
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills
Excellent time management and organisation
The ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
Experience working to strict deadlines and financial targets
A flexible, proactive mindset
