Summary
Elite Personnel are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable law firm based in the Sutton Coldfield area. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Conveyancer or Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy residential property team.
This is a fully office-based position offering a supportive team environment, on-site parking and an excellent benefits package.
The Role
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience within a busy residential conveyancing department and will be confident managing their own mixed caseload from instruction through to completion.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Independently running a caseload of residential sale and purchase files
• Managing all aspects of the conveyancing process through to exchange and completion
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers and third parties
• Providing regular updates and handling client enquiries
• Preparing files for exchange and completion
• Applying for OS1 and bankruptcy searches
• Reviewing files prior to exchange
• Requesting and coordinating completion funds with lenders
• Dealing with replies to requisitions on title
• Handling additional enquiries on sale files
• Managing daily workflow, post and emails efficiently
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to a team-focused environment
Candidate Requirements
• Minimum 2–3 years’ residential conveyancing experience
• Experience independently managing your own caseload
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach
Package
• Salary circa £40,000 (depending on experience)
• 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
• On-site parking
• Full-time, permanent position
• Office-based role
