Sleep-In Rate: £50.00 per night
Job Description
We are currently recruiting Residential Support Workers(qualified and unqualified) to join our dedicated team supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in residential care settings.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people by providing high-quality care, stability, and positive role modelling within a structured home environment.
Due to the locations of our services,you must be a driver with access to a vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people
Promote positive behaviour and implement care plans
Support education, activities, and appointments
Maintain accurate records and reports
Build positive, professional relationships with young people
Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
Participate in sleep-in shifts when required
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or young people (residential experience preferred)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
Strong communication and resilience skills
A passion for supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes
Qualifications:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (desirable but not essential)
Unqualified candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
