Summary
Early Years Lecturer – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting as soon as possible

Leaders work closely with tutors to maintain high standards, helping learners feel motivated, valued, and well prepared for future roles in early years education. Duties as Early Years Lecturer:
- Deliver engaging Early Years theory and practical sessions across relevant qualifications
- Support learners in developing professional knowledge, reflective practice, and sector understanding
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learner needs
- Maintain positive behaviour routines and a well‑organised learning environment
- Provide verbal and written feedback to support learner progress
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental collaboration
- Support learners with employability skills and understanding of EYFS principles
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise learner welfare
Ideal Early Years Lecturer:
- Relevant teaching qualification or strong FE/college teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of both Level 2 pathways in Early Years practice, pedagogy, and sector standards
- Confident delivering both practical workshops and classroom‑based theory
- Effective behaviour management and communication skills
- Able to motivate and support diverse learners
- Proactive, reflective, and committed to high‑quality provision
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting learner well‑being
