PE Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role from March 2026 until May 2026, with potential to continue

Leaders work collaboratively with teachers to uphold strong expectations, helping pupils feel motivated, confident, and ready to learn. Duties as PE Teacher:

  • Teach PE full time across relevant year groups
  • Deliver engaging lessons with no planning or marking required
  • Promote active participation, teamwork, and skill development
  • Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive behaviour
  • Adapt activities to suit mixed‑ability groups and individual needs
  • Ensure safe and well‑organised practical sessions
  • Contribute to departmental organisation and enrichment when needed
  • Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal PE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching PE
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Able to motivate and support learners of differing abilities
  • Confident delivering practical sessions safely and effectively
  • Organised, proactive, and adaptable in supporting pupil progress
  • Committed to high‑quality PE provision
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
