Summary
We are recruiting for a Senior Site Agent to join us here at Octavius.
We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.
Schemes are located within East Sussex, and the successful candidate would also be located here or able to easily commute to all areas of the county.
You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)
-The Senior Site Agent will be responsible for the management of multiple construction site in order to achieve required project delivery to our customers' requirements, while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, quality, reducing environmental impact and cost control. They will deliver multiple on-going projects, to the required programme, whilst managing change within the requirements of the contracts. The Site Agent will work closely with both the Octavius team and our Clients to ensure that projects are completed in a safe manner whilst customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.

About you…. (what you are skilled at)
-Evidenced experience of managing Highway Construction/Improvements.
-Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise and manage tasks simultaneously without compromising on minimum standards and quality.
-Working knowledge of NEC contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting.
-Good knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to general civil engineering.
-Temporary Works Co-ordinator(desirable)
-Good level of IT skills including MS Project, Excel.
-Good level of programme management and application of conditions of contract (NEC, ICE, etc).
-Full Driving Licence.
You'll bring… (your wealth of experience & qualifications)
-Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience or relevant qualification
-NVQ Level 6 or above in construction related discipline.
-SMSTS qualified.
