The Team:

Private Equity is a key strategic growth channel for KPMG Globally and within that, value creation and portfolio services represent a standout opportunity for the firm.
The team comprises of specialists with deep expertise working with both PE firms and their portfolio companies alike, supporting both through the entire transaction lifecycle, from transaction to transformation and through transaction again. Operating in a constantly changing and high-profile area of the market - we work at pace, offering a highly engaging, challenging and rewarding environment; no two days are the same.

The Role:

As a leader in the Private Equity group, you will work across all capabilities (Audit, Tax and Advisory), leading the relationship with a number of our priority clients, you will work across the transaction lifecycle.

Clients will predominantly include large cap PE Operating Partners & the management teams of their associated portfolio companies.
This will suit an ambitious individual who has a broad experience and curiosity; it is a sales-led role to bring the very best of KPMG to identify, pursue and win opportunities across a broad array of specialisms.

Clients operate across Europe and thus the role requires the successful candidate to build an extensive network internally and externally.
Key requirements of this individual:


- Will build on and grow relationships with Operating Partners at some of the most prestigious PE firms.
- Must be able to build trust and maintain the highest levels of client service with clients.
- Will take a problem statement or opportunity and bring together a team to refine and define a solution to meet the clients’ needs, leveraging a strong internal network.
- Must be able to identify, develop and refine our key propositions to take to market.
- Will continue to build the firm’s brand through an effective marketing and events strategy.
- Must be able to coach pursuit teams, using effective sales skills and strategies to maximise the chance of winning opportunities.
- Must be resilient and a self-starter.

The successful applicant will be expected to join the PE Leadership team and work closely with the UK Head of PE.

The Person:

- Proven ability to rapidly build profitable relationships with senior client executives
- Hungry and motivated, with a strong sales-focused mentality
- Ability to establish a systematic data-driven sales approach
- Excellent project management skills and an ability to ensure actions get executed
- Understand of, or history in management consulting or deal advisory services (desirable)
