Summary
As a trainee, you will receive comprehensive training while being an employee, allowing you to develop the essential knowledge and skills required for this vital role. During the training period, you will gain hands on experience and professional development, with your pay set at 75% of the pay band maximum payment of the fully qualified rate (Band 3 salary). Upon successful completion of your training, your pay will increase to the Band 3 pay scale. If the competencies are not achieved within 12 months from appointment this will not allow for successful progression to the full Band 3 role and this may result in re-deployment. Timeframes for completion of training may be extended to take account of individual post holder circumstances such as long-term absence, Maternity Leave etc. and is at the discretion of the Manager.
