Summary
To operate the trust switchboard and answer and connect all external & internal, incoming and outgoing calls in a polite and efficient manner. To activate the trust Cardiac Arrest, Fire, Security, Trauma and other emergency procedures when requested, to also test these emergency teams daily via the Trust's paging system and record responses. To monitor and act on alarms from the trust fire panel and other alarms in the department. Report to the Estates team any alarm faults for them to action. Radio liaison with Security staff. To follow all local and trust procedures To provide cover and arrange cover to maintain the service when situations arise out of hours.
