We're looking for an Asbestos Consultant who will carry out a wide range of asbestos surveying and analytical duties across domestic, commercial and industrial properties.
Role Responsibilities
-Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial properties in accordance with HSG264 and company procedures.
-Collect site data, transport asbestos samples to UKAS‑accredited laboratories approved by the company, and complete asbestos survey reports and drawings using company software.
-Conduct air monitoring and 4‑stage clearance procedures in line with HSG248 and our UKAS‑accredited procedures.
-Build and maintain client relationships, providing specialist advice and technical support when required.
-Liaise with the Asbestos Surveying Quality team, Contracts, Projects Managers and Supervisor as necessary.
-Liaise with clients where required.
-Set a personal example and promote the company in a professional manner at all times.
Required QualificationsApplicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
-BOHS P402 qualified (or equivalent).
-BOHS P403/P404 qualified (or equivalent).
-Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
-In‑depth knowledge of HSG264 and HSG248.
-Strong knowledge of site analytical and removal practices.
-Familiarity with TEAMS useful but not essential.
-Full UK driving licence.
